Mrs. Witt's Classroom News
The school year is coming to a close, Fourth grade has accomplished many things. We have learned about the history of Wisconsin and how we formed from the glaciers. We found out how we became a state, and what our symbols represent. We also learned about the events of the 20th century and how it affects our lives today. Our science journey has included the study of our body and how we should take care of it. We have studied the living and non-living parts of our world. We have learned about our ecosystem and our responsibility to take care of our world. We have studied landforms and what makes up earth's layers. Here are some of the landforms we studied.
Our religious journey has included the 10 Commandments the Beatitudes and special people who have made a difference in our world. We have participated in activities to show we are a part of our community.
We have become better math problem solvers through basic facts, fractions, decimals, and geometry. (Please continue to practice over the summer.) Our new reading program has been challenging and interesting and fun. The stories are interesting and activities enjoyable. This has been a very busy and enjoyable year for me. God Bless each of you and have a restful summer. Mrs. Witt Contact Mrs. Witt at bwitt@mystcharles.org
