Dear Families
Is it too soon to start counting down?
We think not, 15 more days until we say goodbye and
enjoy summer vacation!
Each child will receive their third quarter report
card on Friday.
If you have any concerns and would like to discuss
the progress of your child, please contact me so we can arrange a meeting. Our K3 is excited to learn. Everyone now knows when we sit and listen and when it is time to play and explore. Many of the children have recently begun to fully participate in the circle time experience. This is where most of our learning begins. Every day we enjoy counting in different languages, signing the weather, finding letter of the week words and singing. I also admire the way the children join along with the Our Father and the Pledge of Allegiance. We have come a LONG way since September and it will only get better on K4. Please register if you have not already done so, and make sure Kathy is aware of the days and hours you will be attending! Spaces are filling up fast!
Does your child know the 10 basic colors?
Are they able to recognize the eight basic shapes?
Can they count or sing the alphabet song?
These are all important skills to remember and
practice.
Find ways to make a game out of finding shapes or colors
in the car.
You can also have them match socks and count the “strays”.
They will be excited to show off and improving and
mastering important preschool skills at the same time. Important Dates to Remember:
(Date may change due to weather.
We will need parent volunteers and game ideas!)
Thursday, June 10th is our final day of school.
The k3 and k4 will sit together as one class.
All children are encourage to attend the closing
Mass.
This will be our final goodbye and awards will be
distributed.
Don’t forget about the Pig Roast!
It is a great time and all money earned goes
towards OUR SCHOOL!

Please help us teach the children on how to make responsible choices for snack by providing our class with healthy options. We do have a small refrigerator in our classroom and can store perishable items such as cheese, yogurt, pudding and jell-o. Snack will be assigned by weeks so please make sure your child brings their items every school day of their assigned week. Revised K3 Snack Schedule Each child is to bring enough snacks for the class to cover their week. There are 9 students in K3.
