The Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth
has informed our school that Caitlin F was among the top scores in Wisconsin in the 2009-2010 Midwest Academic Talent Search, an out-of-level testing program for gifted students in grades 3-9. Students are nominated for participation through one or more criteria indicating potential for high academic achievement. Approximately 6,000 Wisconsin students participate each year, Caitlin scored among the top 5% in the state.
The Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth will be hosting an Awards Ceremony to honor students on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Students will be introduced individually, awarded a medal, and recognized by School of Education Dean Julie Underwood and other dignitaries.
