School Staff
Our Principal
| Sister Margaret Pietsch is a native of Upper
Michigan. She holds a BS from Mount Mary College, a Masters Degree
in Learning Disabilities and Emotionally Disturbed from
UW-Milwaukee, and a Masters Degree from UW-Madison in School
Administration. She has been involved in Catholic School
Administration since 1985 when she served as Principal of St.
Peter's in East Troy, Wisconsin. Prior to that she was an
Administrator for a Day Treatment Center serving children with
Special Needs. Sister Margaret Pietsch began her duties as
Principal of St. Charles School in the fall of 1997. Under her
leadership, St. Charles has developed a new library and media
center. She was also instrumental in the building of the
Activity Center.
Sister Margaret continues to build on St Charles' core
strengths: a dedicated faculty, a rigorous and challenging
curriculum, and high moral and academic expectations of the
students. |

Our Faculty
 |
St. Charles School is proud of its dedicated faculty. Our team includes ten classroom teachers, two music
teachers, an art teacher, a Spanish teacher, a physical education
teacher, and a Chapter One instructor. Along with parents and the
pastor, the staff works to integrate sound Christian principles of
faith in action with strong scholastic programs. All faculty
members hold baccalaureates or higher and are enrolled in
continuing religious education classes mandated by the Milwaukee
Archdiocese. |
Our Support Staff
| St. Charles is proud of its support
staff. Our
support staff includes two teacher aides who support and amplify
the work of our faculty. We have a school secretary, a technology director to
coordinate our computer activities, a maintenance manager, and a
custodial team. Our staff also includes a Hot Lunch Manager, a Hot
Lunch book keeper, and Hot lunch cooks who provide nutritious
meals for our students and teachers. This entire support staff
makes St. Charles the vibrant faith community it is. |

Our Volunteers
As with any parochial school, the volunteers are what make St.
Charles School such a special place. Because funding is not always
available, we depend on the volunteers to provide our students with
the “extras” of education. Volunteers are valued members of our school
community and we thank them for their gift of time, talent, or
treasure. St. Charles offers parents a variety of opportunities to
volunteer at the school.
School Curriculum
The course of study at St. Charles School has been developed with
guidance from the Milwaukee Archdiocesan Office for Schools and in
accordance with the requirements of the State of Wisconsin. In
addition to the secular subjects offered in the public schools
(Language Arts, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art,
Technology, Music, Physical Education and Spanish), we offer:
 | K3 and K4 Extended Day Program |

 | Weekly Student-led Liturgical Celebrations
