St. Charles has a mandatory hot lunch policy. All students who attend St. Charles are expected to purchase hot lunch, unless medical reasons prohibit participation or per parent signed waiver. The St. Charles School Hot lunch Program operates according to the government guidelines. Each lunch will consist of 1 hot entrée along with fruit/vegetable and dessert. Peanut Butter sandwiches are available as an entrée alternative.
Through the use of The Pocket Lunch Tracking System, each family has an account in which they deposit money. When the children take a lunch, the money will be deducted from this account. when an account falls below the threshold of $10, per child parents will receive notice requesting a deposit into the family account.
The cost per day for the 2011-2012 school year is:
Grades PreK - 4 = $2.10 and Grades 5 - 8 = $2.15
Annual milk fee:
K3 = $35.00
K4 = $50.00
K5 = $75.00
