Media Center

In 2002, the completion of our new Activity Center freed up the space for St. Charles to combine their Computer Lab and Library into a focused Media Resource Center. This is available to all students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students begin to develop their computer skills in Kindergarten, and soon are introduced to the Microsoft Office products of Word®, Excel® and PowerPoint®. Starting in 3rd grade, students are taught touch-typing, and beginning in 4th grade students compose reports on the computer. All school computers have access to content-filtered, adult supervised internet access.
