Once again our St. Charles alumni have shown that their commitment to excellence continues past the walls of St. Charles School! Recently the "Voice of Democracy" contest was held at Burlington High School. The contest which is sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars is a yearly event across the country. There were five students recognized for their speeches which gives them an opportunity to express themselves regarding democratic ideas and principles. Four of the five students who earned awards are graduates* of St. Charles. They are pictured below:

She has participated in various sports and has also been a part of the high school leadership program, "Driven". Her service project was organizing a Special Olympics basketball tournament, not a small task by any means. She plans to major in special education at the college level. Find out more about Emily and her dedication to both the Special Olympics and children with special needs by visiting the Racine Journal article link.

St. Charles graduates move on to excel at the high school level and beyond! In 2012 and 2013, three of the four Valedictorians in Burlington high schools were St. Charles graduates.

In 2014, Andre Dériaz and Anna Sommers were named two of the top ten seniors at Burlington High School for 2013-2014 by the All Southern Lakes Conference. Kellen Caldwell was named the "Outstanding Senior for 2014 at B.H.S.".

Ben Heiligenthal was named 2nd Team All Conference, 2nd Team All Area and Honorable Mention All County in basketball at Catholic Central for 2013-2014 ...and the list goes on and on!

Also in 2014, Grace Boyle,(then eighth grader), took part in the WSMA music competition. She moved on to the state competition earning a gold medal for her Class A, Theater Solo performance of "Shy" from the musical, "Once Upon a Mattress, Jr." Grace also starred in that production at St. Charles the same year.

Our Past Alumni:

Many St. Charles graduates are area business leaders and owners. They carry on the tradition of service and become mentors for others; such as 2014 Humanitarian Award Winner Chris Weidert. Chris is the third St. Charles graduate in the past four years who has won this award. They include James Bauman in 2013, and Don VandeSand in 2011. Please take a peek at  the attached video link, Chris is truly an inspiration! Former graduates and parents like Chris reinforce the Catholic beliefs that we are here to follow in Jesus' footsteps and serve others. They teach by example and inspire others to do the same!

We are proud of our over one hundred year history!  St. Charles, and Catholic schools in general, continue to provide the discipline, academics, and direction to guide our children on the path that God intended. We have proven results...our alumni!

We want to keep in touch with our graduates. Please email us your contact information and what you are up to! We will let you know about upcoming events and happenings.
